Discovery tools scan the network and the cloud, but they can only see what they can reach — and they can't reach the SaaS apps, shadow IT, and business services your teams actually run on. Connect your ITSM

Point Axiom at your ServiceNow instance (read-only). It pulls your incidents, problems, and changes. Your AI key stays yours (more on that below) — Axiom is the engine, not the model vendor.

AI infers your topology

Axiom reads the ticket text and extracts the applications, services, and dependencies named in it — as confidence-scored suggestions. It only emits what's actually in your tickets: no guessing, no invented hostnames, no inferred CIs that aren't on the page.

Review, then accept

Your CMDB managers review each suggestion with its confidence score and the source ticket text that produced it. Nothing lands in your CMDB without a human accepting it. Approved CIs feed your existing identification and reconciliation process — Axiom adds to your CMDB, it doesn't replace it.

The result: CMDB content you can stand up before Discovery is configured, and a head start on the services Discovery would never have found.

Two architectural choices do the work. First, bring your own key: Axiom runs on your Anthropic (or Bedrock / Azure OpenAI) key, so you pay for AI at cost, directly to the model provider — Axiom takes nothing on top. Second, cold-start needs no infrastructure: because Axiom reads ticket text instead of scanning your network, there's no MID Server, no Discovery license, and no per-CI scan meter underneath it.

The contrast: getting AI to do CMDB work the conventional way means paying for a metered AI tier plusthe discovery and service-mapping licensing it sits on top of — a bill that's quoted behind closed doors and metered in a way that's hard to predict.
